Business Unit Controller – Premium

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Leader handling the Premium accounts within the Off-Trade sales team within Molson Coors. You’ll be leading a small team of people as you aim to deliver on the targets in year and set the direction for your team. You’ll hold responsibility for the management of Waitrose, M&S, and other premium retailers. You’ll be coordinating all aspects of the Customer facing Multi-Functional Selling Team (MFST) and running the short to medium term agenda for that.

You’ll grow the relationships we have with our customers and set up a contact strategy that works for all parties involved. Looking to improve upon ways of working that ensures we’re delivering against the JBPs set in place and working with your team on drawing the agreements up.

Given the nature of the premium retailers, you’ll approach our portfolio of brands differently than your peers, looking at ways to capitalise on the brand equity within our own premium ranges and ensuring that they’re present in the right locations.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re a proven commercial leader, you’ve managed mid-size teams previously and can demonstrate success of a division through your leadership.
  • You have a strong understanding of the off-trade market. You don’t necessarily need to have come from the adult drinks industry, but you’ve worked on and sold into Premium retailers previously.
  • A head for numbers, you’re comfortable working with intricate JBPs, P&Ls for multiple customers and have the ability to spot opportunities and challenges before they arise.
  • Ultimately, you’re a grafter. You keep on the ball and make sure you win and utilise the strengths within your team to work towards the sales targets together.
