The Headlines:

In the role of Senior Director, Corporate Affairs for Canada, you will report to the Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer and will be based in Toronto. You will lead the Canadian Corporate Affairs agenda, budget and team. You will lead Molson Coors Canadian Strategy for Government Relations, Public Relations, Internal and External Communications, Community Relations, Corporate Social responsibility, Corporate reputation and Industry agenda nationally with an objective to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities to significantly contribute to the delivery of Molson Coors Canada business objectives.

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Corporate affairs Canadian agenda Including Employee Communications, Brand and Consumer PR, Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications, Industry matters, Governmental and Public Relations agenda, Corporate Reputation, Donation fund, Consumer Care
  • Act as Enterprise spoke person
  • Monitor media/political situation in Canada and develop actions plans to address potential issue or opportunity and execute with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships for Molson Coors Canada with key external stakeholders (Government, Regulators, Media, Industry, Community)
  • Develop and track overall Corporate Affairs budget. Inspire, develop and lead the Corporate Affairs team, play a leadership role in the Canadian Senior Leadership Team
  • Provides Canadian Corporate Affairs support to global projects

  • You love a challenge and excel at developing creative solutions. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships
  • You exhibit our core values and demonstrate our Molson Coors behaviours
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or an associated field
  • You are an experienced and appreciated people manager and a rigorous budget manager
  • You have 7+ years related experience in Government, Public or Corporate Affairs
  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check (if locally applicable).
