Perform complex tax research and planning related to determining,
, federal and international tax consequences for the corporation of acquisitions, divestitures and other transactions. Includes "what-if" planning in the federal and international tax areas.
federal and international tax legislation and communicates to management potential effects on corporation as well as help craft company business actions to maximum benefits or minimize detriments of such legislation. Provide advice and support in the area of
federal and international tax compliance matters.
Provide research support for complex IRS audits, appeals and litigation issues as well as helps manage the coordination and preparation of complex IRS ruling requests regarding tax consequences of proposed transactions.
federal and international income tax post-audit activities which includes protests, appeals, hearings and litigation as well as provides some technical and tax controversy support in Business Tax and Payroll Tax areas.
Advise North America Zone Tax Management on complex, sensitive issues and exposures related to tax. Frequent and direct contact with Senior Management.
Act as a liaison with the Government Affairs Group in matters related to State Tax helping with understanding proposed and enacted legislation
Participate in Trade Association and Coalitions to support the position of the company in state and federal matters.
