FORECASTER, REGIONAL LOGISTICS

Lead Sales & Operation (S&OP) meetings for local branches ensuring full integration of commercial strategy into operations teams execution plan
Acquire, construct, and analyze demand data utilizing SQL, SAS and Microsoft Access
Create and maintain data driven dashboard tracking for all key forecasting metrics in an action oriented format
Proactively communicate actual sales trends versus demand scenarios to ensure supply actions are properly executed
Analyze multiple sales data sources including IRI to more accurately predict new product launch volume expectations
Develop actions plans to minimize out of stocks while reducing finished product loss at branches.
Analyze commonly over-forecasted items to limit future supply chain loss at local branches.
B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business or Operations Research
Broad understanding of demand planning concepts and statistical forecasting.
Strong interpersonal, business acumen, financial and technical problem solving skills
Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Computer proficiency required including advanced Excel, Access & PowerPoint skills. SAS preferred.
SAP & Logistics Planning systems knowledge & usage a plus; data mining experience desirable
