Description Primary focus is on managing relationship and performance of Key Off-Premise Large Format Retailers in order to increase sales and brand presence in marketplace. Drive distribution and improve visibility of Golden Road brands. Serve as educator and ambassador of Golden Road culture and mission. Promote the message of quality beer, and position Golden Road as Los Angeles’ premier craft brewery.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for Local Large Format Off Premise Chain account relationships
  • Develop Key Account list for California
  • Develop Large Format Off-Premise Key Account KPI’s for GRB and wholesaler network
  • Work with Director, Experiential & Director, National Accounts to set account base for National Sales Team
  • Perform quarterly wholesaler reviews with key wholesaler personnel as it relates to Key Account list performance
  • Maintain and evaluate Key Account budget as it relates to annual Financial and Marketing plan.
  • Maintain training plan as assigned by Director, National Accounts
  • Prioritize accounts by volume potential
  • Develop Joint Business Plans for key accounts
  • Communicate with key accounts as needed to maximize results
  • Collaborate and ride with Off Premise Managers at key wholesalers
  • Analyze and review competitive data, including pricing, to make strategic recommendations
  • Adhere to standardized call frequency plan for key account managers

Job Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 2 years experience in alcohol beverage industry
  • Exceptional work ethic, with a focused passion for the Beer industry and a growing knowledge of Craft beer
  • Knowledge of the Beer Industry, including On and the Off Premise
  • Working knowledge of how a Wholesaler works and the 3 tier system
  • The ability and desire to learn on a daily basis
  • Ability to manage, lead, and develop people
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to inspire sales and merchandising personnel in order to maximize “Share of Mind” and drive sales
  • Ability to clearly articulate yourself in a professional manner
  • Possess public speaking skills
  • Ability to interpret data and troubleshoot
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed
