Description
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and modify PLCs and programming to repair, improve and optimize processes.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain variable speed drive, controlled high speed production equipment.
  • Repair, install and set up VFDs.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
  • Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.
  • Able and willing to work 12.25 hour shifts on a 3-on / 3-off schedule. Position rotates between day and night shifts every 8 weeks. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
  • Availability to work mandatory overtime required.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Superior attention to safe work practices.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required.
  • 3 or more years industrial electrical / programming experience required.
  • Experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed computer-controlled production machinery required.
  • Knowledge of Servos and related controllers including hydraulic and pneumatic, temperature controls.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • AutoCad background a plus.
