The Headlines:

In the role of Director, Sales Finance (based in Chicago, Illinois) you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Sales Finance team with specific responsibilities for the Managed Chain, Commercial Center of Excellence and Revenue management finance teams. You will be also be responsible for working regularly with senior management, our Regional Finance Managers, and the local teams.

This position reports directly to the VP of Sales FInance, and manages a team of Associate Financial Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Senior Financial Analysts.

The Responsibilities:

  • Planning, analysis, and reporting for the Managed Chain Sales Team, Commercial Center of Excellence, and Revenue Management team.
  • Lead the financial and SAP portion of annual revenue planning covering annual GI, promotional spending, and consumer/distributor incentives.
  • Assist with monthly Sales Division reporting, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy for work produced by our Global Business Services unit.
  • Monthly forecasting and analysis for the Sales P&L

The Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • 8 or more years of progressive experience in Finance or Sales required; prior experience in revenue management is strongly preferred
  • Availability to travel as needed domestically
  • Strategic thought leadership and communication, and credibility to influence the business agenda; prior experience in roles that require significant influencing of stakeholders is strongly preferred
  • Ability to translate company strategy and business results into understandable communications to Commercial (Sales & Marketing) leaders.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of financial statements and the global beer industry
  • Thorough understanding of financial modeling techniques to project financial performance
  • A proven ability to build relationships internally and externally; understand and act on external expectations as a publicly traded company
