Location: Dallas- Fort Worth

  • Building strong personal and business relationships with the Anheuser-Busch distributor network with a focus on building and executing local market plans and delivering the necessary focus to grow Kirin in the market
  • Responsible for increasing distribution and volume across on-premise accounts and key off-premise accounts (fine dining, trendy restaurants, beer bars, and package liquor) for Kirin.
  • Representing Kirin in existing key accounts and maintaining or growing beer volume by providing a high level of customer service, building customized promotional campaigns, and consulting customer on pricing and effective sales tactics.
  • Targeting potential new Kirin accounts and growing new business by effectively communicating Kirin’s sales and marketing plans, building a financially sound sales strategy, and building strong relationships.
  • Activate accounts through negotiating menu placements, price specials / promo, brand visibility, providing proper glassware, selling in point of sale material, etc.
  • Work with wholesaler reps to ensure quality activations / promotions and to deliver a quality and consistent brand message in the market.
  • Conducting wait-staff /bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Required.
  • Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server preferred.
  • Passion for Beer and Food and desire to build a career in sales / marketing
  • 1 to 3 years of proven results oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry.
  • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data. Market Manager will be expected to identify gaps in the market using sales data and build data driven plans to close these gaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results; and strong judgment and professional maturity.
